There are different possibilities to get to Champoluc. The easiest is obviously to do so with the help of a taxi. Renting a car is an easy and popular option nowadays. Public transport in Italy is very cheap but the service is somewhat limited (you have to keep track of the stations where to change or get off by yourselfe). Public transport from Milan to VerresIf you use public transportation should I get into Milan's Central Station (Milano Centrale). From both airports you can reach it by train or bus. Usually it is easier to take the bus to Central Station and it is a little cheaper than the train and more frequent. The bus takes about an hour to and from Central Station regardless of airport. In the train station you should buy a ticket to Verres. It's fine to use the terminals located at the central station but there are also staffed ticket offices. From Milan take the train towards Turin and make a change in Chiavasso. It is important that you check the arrival time to Chiavasso and set the alarm 10 minutes earlier so you do not miss to change the train. NB! Train tickets in Italy are to be stamped at the station before the train leaves, use the yellow stamp machines on the platform for this. From Chiavasso you should take the train to Aosta and jump off when you come to Verres. The same applies here; note the time of arrival and set the alarm 10 minutes earlier. The names of the stations before Verres is Ivrea and then Punt Saint Martin. Turin: CaselleA taxi or rental car. Should your flight time correspond with the bus that goes directly from the airport to Verres we recommend you to take that bus. We do not recommend that you take the train from Turin.
